PKMASP - Kidz Zone is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that serves Jim Thorpe Borough as well as the Penn Forest and Kidder Township areas of our community. PKMASP – Kidz Zone provides before and after-school care in a student-oriented setting that fosters opportunities for spiritual growth through the Good News of the Teachings of Jesus Christ, emotional adjustment, and peer relations, while providing parents with peace of mind that their children are safe and well supervised.
One of our objectives is to keep childcare affordable for working parents. PKMASP – Kidz Zone is dedicated to instilling values and reducing high-risk behaviors in children from Kindergarten through 8th Grade.
We offer a well-supervised environment, faith building, mentoring, homework assistance, peer socialization, and recreational activities.

Every day, millions of children are left alone and unsupervised during the before and after-school hours due to parental work schedules.
Surveys have indicated that many parents would enroll their children and youth in before and after-school programs to fulfill the need for adult supervision during these critical hours if these programs were available in the Community.
